Baked Camembert with Balsamic Strawberries


Serves: 4

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes



  • 1 regular sized Camembert cheese wheel

  • 1 cup QLD Strawberries, sliced

  • Small bunch of thyme

  • 1 tbsp caramelised balsamic vinegar

  • Baguette or crackers to dip (something crunchy!)



  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C

  2. In the meantime, prep your strawberries by cutting off the tops and slicing evenly

  3. In a small mixing bowl, add the strawberries, caramelized balsamic vinegar and thyme, and mix so that the strawberries are evenly coated

  4. Place the camembert in the middle of a baking tray lined with baking paper. Place in the oven for 12 minutes

  5. Remove the cheese from the oven, allow to cool slightly for 5 minutes before adding the strawberry mixture on top

  6. Serve with something crunchy - toasted baguette, lavosh or seeded crackers!
