Fig Bruschetta with Cinnamon Ricotta


Jazz up breakfast with this delicious creamy cinnamon whipped ricotta topped with in season fresh figs.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Serve 2



  • 3-4 fresh figs

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 180g fresh ricotta (creamy soft type)

  • 4 slices of seedy bread toasted

  • Honey to serve

  • Flaked almonds to serve



  1. Whisk the fresh ricotta in a bowl until it’s fluffy and smooth. A soft creamy ricotta is best for this recipe, try the Harris Farm brand.

  2. Add the cinnamon and whisk to combine.

  3. Spread the cinnamon ricotta over the toasted spices.

  4. Slice the fresh figs and arrange over the top.

  5. Sprinkle with some almond flaked and a good drizzle of honey.
