It’s mango season! And Harris Farm is the best place for customers to seize the best variety and quality mangoes available. Throughout October to April, we want to celebrate the scent of summer – Aussie mangoes!
Kensington Pride Mango
Golden flesh with a sweet, tangy flavour and a yellow skin tinged with an orange to red blush. Strong aroma, fresh & almost citric.
Available: September to April
Yess Mango
A new variety of mango cross from Irwin and Kensington Pride. Similar flavour to KPs, it has strong red/pink blush on 80% of the skin.
Available: Late September to early January
R2E2 Mango
A large round mango. Deep orange skin tinged with an orange-red blush. Firm flesh that has a sweet, mild flavour.
Available: October to February
Honey Gold Mango
Skin is brilliant golden apricot yellow with a glossy coating. Rich, sweet & aromatic flavour with a firm, but juicy fibre free flesh. Smaller seed means more mango!

AhHa Mango
Another new variety of mango cross from Irwin and Kensington Pride. A sweet rich KP flavour, it has a soft to dark red blush covering 50% of the skin.

Silky Mango
A Harris Farm exclusive late season sweet mango. A little beauty.
Available: January to February
Palmer Mango
A small to medium sized mango with moderate to firm aromatic flesh. A sweet, mild flavour and smooth skin with a dark red blush.

Brooks Mango
A medium sized mango with a green skin with no blush and tasty flesh with a sweet flavour.
Available: March to April
Organic Kensington Pride Mango
Grown and hand picked in Katherine, Australia in a farm called Fox Hole. These organic Foxalicious mangoes are great quality and offer fantastic value. You won’t get to see them often so grab them while you can.

Imperfect Mango
By buying Imperfect you’re helping to reduce food wastage, these mangoes may not look perfect but that doesn’t mean they aren’t perfectly good to eat. These little beauties often just suffer from a little wind rub on the skin, buy by the kilo at a price you’d often pay for a single.

Storage hints and tips
We highly recommend you keep your mangoes out of the fridge!

Tropical fruits are best kept out of the fridge especially while ripening because they’re quite sensitive to chill which could affect their quality.

Putting an unripe mango in the fridge can cause discolouration of the flesh and skin.

Never put a mango in the fridge until it is fully ripe. A fully ripe mango can be stored in the fridge for a few days.

You should never leave mangoes in plastic bags, give your mangoes some air.

You can cut your ripe mangoes up and freeze the flesh, this will last up to year in the freezer.
