Barbecue is a traditional style of preparing beef and is one of the many different varieties of barbecue found around the world. The Caribbean style of slow cooking meat formed the basis of the Southern barbecue tradition that influenced Texas when some of its first American settlers arrived.

• Use Texas BBQ as a rub (moisten meats with olive oil first), on beef brisket, short ribs or pork shoulder for classic pulled pork. Then slow roast BBQ or smoke over low heat until tender.
• Use mix to season quick grill items like chicken, seafood, steak and cutlets.
• Use as a seasoning for potato wedges, homemade fries and grilled vegetables.
