King Island Dairy Surprise Bay Vintage Cheddar
A vintage cheddar that is aged for a minimum of 12 months and in the larger size, coated in a bright red wax. Surprise Bay Cheddar is named after the bay on the island’s south west which has a beautiful remote sandy beach.
Did you know? According to Dairy Australia’s definition, vintage cheddar can only be named such if it has been matured for a minimum of 12 months.
Top Tip: King Island Dairy Surprise Bay Cheddar goes well with quince paste, green apples, walnuts, sourdough bread, chutney, raisins and dates, ham and tomatoes.
