Lady Fingers must be eaten very ripe. When you receive them they should be full colour and may even be starting to go black. This allows for best eating andflavour. They ripen most pleasantly at room temperature
Lady Finger bananas have thin, bright yellow skins that will develop dark flecks when fully ripe. The fruit has a creamy consistency, with a sweeter flavour than common bananas. A good source of potassium and fibre with some vitamin C, folate, and vitamin B6. They are best stored at room temperature.
