At Gemtree we farm our estate vineyards organically and biodynamically. This philosophy rewards us with fruit full of flavour and purity; these are the gems from which we craft our fine wines.
When the grapes taste this good in the vineyard, we take a very simple approach to winemaking. The grapes are lightly pressed using the free run juice only. Luna de Fresa is everything we love about Rosé; dry, fresh and mouth-watering!
This Rosé has attractive aromas of rose petal, cumquat and strawberry. The strawberry characters continue on to the palate, along with cherry and the delicate flavour of lychee. The wine is soft, textural and easy drinking, best served chilled.
Pair with a Thai inspired salad flavoured by chilli, lemongrass, coriander, lime juice and a hint of sweetness.
