Mexican Quesadillas

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Jar HFM Mexicana Sauce

  • Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese

  • Tortillas

  • Tin of black beans

 

METHOD: 

Preheat a sandwich press! 

  1. In a medium sized pot, pour in the Mexicana sauce and the pre rinsed black beans and bring to the boil on medium high heat. Cook for around 8 minutes and remove from the heat.

  2. Place the tortilla wraps on a chopping board. Sprinkle some of the cheese in half of the tortilla. Add a couple of tablespoons of your Mexicana sauce mixture and some more cheese. Fold into half moons.

  3. Place your tortilla creation into the preheated sandwich press and cook for approx. 1 min or until golden and the cheese melts.

  4. To serve, cut into triangles and plate.
