COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Quarter your potatoes, placing them into your pot of boiling water for 15 mins. While you wait, remove the ends of your beans and season your pork steaks on both sides with Italian spices, salt and pepper.

2. Bring a large frying pan to high heat and drizzle with olive oil. Sear the steaks until golden brown, remove from the pan and rest for approx. 5 mins. Add the beans into the boiling water with the potatoes and cook for 2 minutes. Drain the potatoes and beans, and in the same pot on high heat, drizzle olive oil and add both the potatoes and beans back in. Season with salt and pepper. If you wish, chop up some parsley and toss for a couple of mins.

3. To your frying pan, add the capers and olives. Toss for approx. 1 min, then add the Italian tomato sauce, bringing it to the boil and then turning it down to a simmer. Finely slice your pork on a chopping board and place it in the sauce, adding a splash of water if necessary.

4. Plate your meal! Serve your pork steaks with the puttanesca sauce drizzled atop the potatoes and beans.
