Strawberries are really coming good and the premiums although dear, are superb.

Our regular line which are also excellent fruit is easing in price as the week goes on. Pears, papaya and navel oranges are all well priced and superb quality. All apples are eating well.   

Hass avocados from a later more southern district have now started and they are fantastic eating and reliable to cut so for the next few weeks we will run both varieties in tandem.  

Mandarins to please every budget and lots of imperfect lemons round off a fantastic citrus offering.   

At last the news this week is positive.  

Those vegetables that we have been watching their price go through the roof have now started to ease, some more than others.  

Tomatoes, especially truss and imperfects, are close to half last weeks price as is broccoli and all cucumbers. Corn as well as brussell sprouts and fennel has eased but not by as much as broccoli and tomatoes.  

Green capsicums are cheap but reds are actually marginally dearer than they have been. Lettuce, caulies and beans are the only highly priced lines that have not yet started to fall.  

School holidays next week will only exacerbate the drop as demand reduces as it always does with holidays. Still not a lot of tourists arriving yet but lots starting to journey overseas.
