In March each year, good grapefruit is always hard to find. The new season fruit arrives from Queensland and things do improve; but they are still dear. This week, we have a really good eating line of new season Ruby, or red, grapefruit, from the Mareeba. We are selling this grapefruit at an incredible price, way less than half last weeks price because the fruit is a bit larger than the market desires. This new season fruit will keep very well, eat and juice way better than the new season white grapefruit. I love to mix half a grapefruit with whatever orange is in season for my juice every morning!
