Mango is at its best from October through February when Australian and tropical harvests are at their peak. Look for pieces with deep orange, firm flesh and a strong tropical fragrance.
Eat straight from the pack as a snack, cube into a fruit salad, blend into a smoothie or lassi, or use in a mango salsa alongside grilled fish or chicken. Store in the fridge and eat within a day or two.
