Angelino Plum

Angelino Plum is a late-season variety that stands out for its unusually long shelf life and consistently sweet, firm flesh. Deep red-purple skin and juicy, flavoursome flesh make it one of the most reliable plums of the summer-autumn window.

Look for firm, heavy fruit with no soft spots or shrivelling. Angelino holds its texture well and can be ripened at room temperature if still firm. Once ready, refrigerate and eat within a few days.

Eat fresh out of hand, halve and roast with honey for a simple dessert, fold into a summer crumble, or slice onto a cheese board with sharp blue cheese.
