Pick of the Week - GMax Avocados
"At Harris Farm, we want our customers to enjoy their avocados all year round. At this time of the season, we don’t trust the outcomes of the Hass variety and prefer the more predictable GMax, a green skin variety that comes after the more common Shepards.
Like the Shepards, they don’t go brown when cut, they tend to be larger than the Shepards, and best of all they have smallish seed so you are getting more avocado than other varieties offer. This is a product that I can totally recommend. Also in stores, we will have specials on our line of HFM guacamole to go with our HFM corn chips, in tacos, or on a cheese board as dip."
