Pick of the Week - Bananas
A great week or two for bananas coming up. The industry is very well supplied ( maybe a little oversupplied ) and, so we will see prices ease over this period. A perfect time for this to happen with kids going back to school next week.
With stone fruit now virtually over, it is now apples and bananas to be followed very soon by mandarins for the lunch box. Don’t forget that bananas ripen quickly but should NEVER go in the fridge, just store them in the fruit bowl. The ultimate healthy snack.
