Pear Packham Imperfect Each

Pear Packham Imperfect Each is the same classic green pear — juicy, sweet and with that familiar soft-textured flesh — with a few cosmetic marks that make no difference to the flavour. Great eating at a better price.

Look for pears that give very slightly near the neck. Packham is available year-round and is one of Australia's most widely grown pear varieties. Once ripe, refrigerate and eat within a few days.

Eat fresh out of hand, slice onto a cheese board with aged cheddar or blue cheese, poach in spiced syrup, or bake into a tart or crumble.
