Celery Whole is a full head of crisp, aromatic celery — an essential flavour-building vegetable that's as useful raw as it is cooked. The leaves and inner stalks are often the most flavourful part.
Look for heads that are firm and tightly packed with fresh, bright green leaves. Celery keeps well in the fridge for up to two weeks, ideally wrapped in foil to maintain crunch. The leaves are fully edible and work well as a herb.
Use as the flavour base for soups, stews, stocks and braises, slice raw with peanut butter or hummus as a snack, add to a Waldorf salad, or juice with apple and ginger.
