Kura Konjac Shirataki Noodles Angel Hair 270g

Shirataki noodles are made from konjac, a root vegetable used in Japanese cooking for centuries. Kura's angel hair variety is cut fine like a delicate pasta, with a translucent, gelatinous texture that takes on the flavour of whatever sauce or broth it is cooked in. Almost zero calories and carbohydrates make these a genuinely useful staple for low-carb and keto cooking.

Rinse well under cold water and drain before using. For best results, dry-fry in a hot pan for two to three minutes to remove excess moisture and improve the texture before adding to your dish. Add to a Japanese sukiyaki or hot pot, toss through a stir fry with garlic and oyster sauce, or serve cold in a sesame dressing as part of a Japanese-style salad. They also substitute well for pasta in a light broth or sauce where the low calorie count is the goal.
