Pick of the Week - Corn

Summer corn is now in full swing. It grows from NSW right through to Victoria and it’s now at its best. I feel the loose product rather than the packaged in plastic product is far better. It keeps and stores in natures packaging really well. A couple of dollars buys you a lot corn this week. Try it on the barby with lemon or lime squeezed over it. You can cook it with or without the husk on, though clearly if you are using lemon in the process the husk needs to come off.
HOW TO PICK
Pick corn with bright green husks and plump kernels.
HOW TO STORE
Store corn in its husk in the crisper section of your fridge. Aim to use within a few days.
