Pick of the Week - Green Skin Avocados
We have a fabulous special this week on really large green skin avos. They aren’t Shepards but a variety called G20. The fruit we have on special this week are huge! With the very small seed this variety typically have, they are exceptional value and fantastic to eat. This fruit will be available over the next month or so. With a smooth green skin and gold buttery flesh, these beautiful pear shaped avos from North Queensland are creamy, delicious and are rich in healthy fats, vitamins and minerals. Picked at optimum maturity, this particular variety are larger than a Shepard, have a seed smaller than both the Shepard and Hass, and best of all, this variety doesn't go brown when cut, making them perfect for salads or guac!
