Pick of the Week - Broccoli
Broccoli from Tasmania is coming into some good volumes this week. Heat on the mainland has had an impact on vegetable crops but the moderate climate in Tasmania is perfect for growing vegetables. On special in all stores, the quality is fantastic and the price is almost half of last week's!
HOW TO PICK
Look for broccoli with bright green heads and compact clusters of the broccoli florets. Avoid broccoli that appears to have woody stems or those with yellow florets.
HOW TO STORE
Store broccoli in the fridge and aim to use within 5 days
