Josephine pears are a very sweet medium-sized pear. They finish earlier in the season than some of the other varieties and are eating very well right now. They have an amazing flavour they make an interesting and rewarding change to the far more common Packham pears. At their best and at a very attractive price in all HFM stores this week.
