Pick of the Week - Fuji Apples
Fujis are probably the sweetest of all apples. They are picked later than most apples, so our special this week is straight off the trees from Batlow. Originally from Japan, they are by far the most popular apple in that country. They last extremely well even out of the fridge, so when they are a bargain as they are this week, feel comfortable to buy extra. You won’t be disappointed. Some years the crop does not succeed, but this looks like a good year for Fujis.

Choose firm fruit – the flesh of the apple should not easily give way to finger pressure.

To keep your apples fresher for longer, store them in the fridge.
