One of the sweetest plums we sell are sugar plums. Sugar plums originate from China, from hundreds of years ago. They have been grafted over the years and are now very popular as a fresh plum; we export them to Asia in large quantities most years. Sugar plums reach their peak quality right now, and those in store are grown in the Young district in NSW. They are at their absolute best this week and on a very special price at all HFM stores.
