IN FRUIT:
Bananas continue to be great value this week, as are our imperfect pink lady apples. Seedless melon is very well priced as are crimson seedless grapes. Limes continue to be inexpensive whilst the bars and restaurants stay shut. Very little change from last week overall.
IN VEG:
Cooler weather in the growing areas has slowed down vegetable growth, making supply a little tighter and firming price somewhat. Our best special this week is our red washed potatoes. With these potatoes, the actual variety changes every month or even more often. We will always pick the most appropriate potato at the time to supply you with.
The other great special this week is snacking tomatoes, either medley mix or sweet delights or both. Parsnips and especially Imperfect parsnips are easing in price, and fennel, Imperfect kumera and fresh peas all continue to be inexpensive and excellent quality
