In Veg
We have four excellent vegetable options this week at bargain prices. Dutch carrots which go with any winter meal are around half last week’s price. 2 kg bags of red-washed potatoes, sweet delight tomatoes, and beans are also far cheaper than last week though not quite half price.
The fantastic specials on corn continue, it is eating fantastically, we are having it at home 2 or 3 nights a week.
In Fruit
Our main feature this week is blood oranges. All stores have them at a super cheap ticket, less than half last week's price. If you squeeze your own juice, this is a real opportunity. If you are a family, think about a box - the boxes are 10 kg, not so big as our box navels, and you get them even cheaper by the box. They are more delicate than navels, it's desirable to keep them in the fridge if possible. As mentioned last week, we will be continuing our imperfect navel special this week and hopefully a couple more weeks after that.
Our Sydney stores have a very attractively priced line of lunch box Gala's from Batlow this week, fantastic eating, and a great price. Avocados are really excellent quality now. Both strawberries and blueberries continue to be in everyone’s shopping basket.
This week, more people are switching to blueberries for a change. Lots of bargains to be found at Harris Farm.
