Every time a customer chooses to “pay it forward” at checkout, that small gesture becomes fresh food on someone’s table.
Through our partnership with GoGenerosity, Harris Farm Markets makes it easy for customers to turn their everyday shop into meaningful support for local communities.
When checking out for groceries online, customers have the option to “pay it forward” by adding a small donation to their purchase. We then match every dollar donated — dollar for dollar — and convert the total into a Harris Farm Markets gift card. These gift cards are provided directly to our featured charity partner, allowing them to purchase fresh food and groceries for their programs and the people they support.
It’s a simple model with powerful impact. By transforming donations into Harris Farm gift cards, charities can choose exactly what they need — whether that’s fresh produce for community meals, pantry staples for food relief hampers, or ingredients for cooking programs. It ensures dignity, flexibility and real nourishment.
A key part of this initiative is our rotating charity partnership. Each month, we work with a different community organisation, shining a spotlight on the diverse and vital work being done across our neighbourhoods. From grassroots food relief groups to organisations supporting families, youth and vulnerable Australians, the program allows us to extend our reach and support a wide range of causes throughout the year.
There are also some partners we proudly support more than once. When we see the incredible impact certain organisations are making in their communities, we’re committed to backing them again. These repeat partnerships reflect the strength of their work and our ongoing commitment to building long-term community relationships.
The partnership with GoGenerosity embodies what Neighbourhood Goodness is all about — practical generosity, shared responsibility and making it easier for our customers to be part of something bigger. Together, we’re helping ensure fresh food reaches the people who need it most, one shop at a time.
