For the Greater Goodness: A Day Dedicated to Community

At Harris Farm Markets, we believe good food has the power to do good. That's why we recently marked our first-ever Greater Goodness Day — a special day dedicated to supporting the communities we serve and celebrating the partnerships that help make a difference every day.

Together with our friends at Amazon Australia, we packed more than 600 hampers for One Meal, including long-life grocery essentials and fresh fruit and vegetable hampers for people experiencing hardship.

We're incredibly grateful to the Amazon team for joining us and to One Meal for the important work they do, helping connect vulnerable Australians with nutritious food when they need it most.

The day also gave us an opportunity to spend time with some of the local organisations supported through our Neighbourhood Goodness program. Across our store network, we work alongside community partners including Wayside Chapel, OzHarvest, Addi Road Community Organisation, The Salvation Army, HOPE Program, and many others who are creating positive change in their local areas.

These partnerships are a reminder that small actions can have a meaningful impact when communities come together.

For us, For the Greater Goodness is more than a phrase. It's about supporting Australian growers, helping reduce food waste, giving back to local communities, and making it easier for customers to shop in a way that contributes to something bigger.
