Baked Brie with Dried Fruit and Honeycomb

A large wheel of brie in a dish that's been scored across the top, surrounded by dried fruit and drizzled with honey then baked

Always a winner when you’re entertaining, this also makes a great gift to take to a party. Your host can choose whether to use it that night or pop it in the fridge to be baked in the next three days.

Ingredients:

  • Wheel of brie
  • Mixed dried fruit (lge fruit like pears)
  • Honey
  • Thyme
  • Honeycomb (optional)

Steps:

  1. Place brie in a dish with a bit of room around the sides
  2. Score the top in a crisscross fashion
  3. Arrange dried fruit around the cheese, and a little on top
  4. Top with a sprig of thyme
  5. Drizzle brie and fruit with honey
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180
  7. Top with pieces of honeycomb
  8. Serve with bread, crackers or crudites for dipping

Chef’s Note:

If you’re giving this as a gift, add the honeycomb in a separate bag and attach to the dish. Write simple baking instructions on a tag:

  • Cook for 10-12 minutes at 180
  • Top with honeycomb & serve
  • (ps: keep in fridge, bake within 3 days!)
