Sampari tomatoes are fantastic this week. Grown and carefully harvested on the vine in Guyra at the top of the Northern tablelands in NSW making them high in flavour and nutrient rich. Sampari tomatoes are high invitamin B, iron, zinc and potassium and have morevitamin C than other tomatoes. Perfect for the 'at home' chef, Sampari are ideal in salads, sandwiches and pasta or fantastic roasted on the vine.
HOW TO PICK
Choose tomatoes that are a brightred as they areripe and bursting with flavour.
HOW TO STORE
Keep at room temperature on the vine for up to two weeks or until ripened. Store ripe tomatoes in the fridge for up to two days. Bring to room temperature before using.
