Vitamin C Booster Smoothie

 

Looking for an immune boosting smoothie? Then grab a banana, cut up some pineapple and add in some spinach leaves for this refreshingly nutritious drink!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup of baby spinach leaves
  • 1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen in chunks
  • 1 cup milk (regular, almond, soy or coconut)
  • 1 cup ice

method:

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender
  2. Blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses and serve.

Tip: For a thicker shake, add more ice and blend until slushy.
