Fruits & veg is a very important part of our daily diet. That is why we always encourage children to eat them. If you ignore eating fruits and vegetables then you might get sick easily and gain more weight. Vegetables should not be overcooked because they become tasteless and consequently its nutrients will be gone. 

Required Amount

Each person needs to consume at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Perhaps you might think that this is quite a lot for one day. But actually it is not.
