Honey Glazed Dutch Carrots - Recipe


Honey and carrots are a classic combination that will never go out of style and make a great side dish for a warm winter family meal.

Honey Carrots


  • 2 bunches of dutch carrots - peeled
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 12 raisins
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 250mL water
  • 8 mint leaves - torn
  • 2 tablespoons of cow's feta


  1. Place carrots, water, honey and butter in pot. Bring to the boil and boil carrots till tender (10 mins).
  2. Test with skewer, should be soft all the way through.
  3. Lift carrots onto your serving dish.
  4. Boil sauce with raisins until syrupy.
  5. Dress over carrots then add feta and mint to carrots.
