Taj King Basmati Rice Golden Parboiled 1kg. Extra Long Grain. TAJ King Golden Basmati Rice is a pre-steamed variant of raw Basmati Rice. The par-boiling process distributes and seals the nutrients, colour and flavour and ensures perfectly fluffy and separate rice grains. Non-stick, Durable Silky Polished, Sortexed Clean.
Preparation
to obtain light and fluffy non stick cooking savoury Golden Parboiled Rice: Wash rice well and drain out water. For best results soak rice in water for 10-15 minutes. Boil: Bring 1 cup rice (200g) and 6-8 cups water to boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and boil gently, uncovered for 12-14 minutes. Drain well and serve. Absorption: Bring 1 cup rice (200g) and cups water to boil, stirring occasionally. For every additional cup of rice add equal volume of water. Low heat, cover and simmer 12-14 minutes, remove from heat and stand, covered, 5 minutes. Microwave: Use the same amount of water and rice as the absorption method. Due to variations between microwaves, please refer to the manual for instructions.
