My pick of the week is Snow peas. Never better than in spring, this vegetable is a no waste extremely versatile vegetable that is around 35% cheaper than last week. This legume is referred to in French as a MANGETOUT which translates to eat all. They are a fantastic addition to stir fries, in salads, to snack on or just as a green vegetable with the main meal. The key to enjoying them is not to overcook them so they are still crunchy, and in fact are delicious raw as well.

Pick snow peas which are bright green in colour with small seeds.
HOW TO STORE
Store in the crisper drawer of your fridge for up to 5 days.
